What are Interested Parties?

Any party that has an interest in the assets surrounding an estate, which can include trustees, executors, estate administrators, creditors, and beneficiaries.

Individuals or entities with a stake in the outcome of a legal proceeding, particularly in probate cases. Interested parties may include heirs, beneficiaries, creditors, and others affected by the administration of an estate. Identifying interested parties is essential for ensuring proper notice and participation in probate proceedings, as their rights and interests must be considered during the estate’s administration and distribution process.
