What is a Summons for Probate?

A legal document issued by the probate court that notifies interested parties of the start of probate proceedings and directs them to appear in court or take action if they wish to contest the estate.

A legal document issued by the probate court to notify interested parties, such as heirs and beneficiaries, of the initiation of probate proceedings for a deceased person’s estate.
