Chris Meadows serves as Chief Operating Officer of RMO LLP, where he leads the firm’s operational strategy, business performance, and organizational growth. An attorney and seasoned executive leader, Chris brings extensive experience across law firm management, private enterprise, nonprofit organizations, and state government. He is known for helping organizations scale efficiently while maintaining operational excellence and sound risk management.
Prior to joining RMO LLP, Chris held senior executive leadership roles in both the legal and private sectors, overseeing operations, finance, human resources, technology, marketing, compliance, and legal affairs. He has led organizations through significant growth initiatives, operational transformations, systems implementations, and organizational restructuring, consistently improving efficiency, accountability, and performance. His experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for high-growth businesses and law firms, where he managed enterprise operations, strategic planning, risk management, and business optimization initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Chris held leadership and legal roles within Florida state government and large nonprofit organizations, advising on procurement, contracts, employment matters, regulatory compliance, public policy, and legislative initiatives. His public service experience included work with statewide agencies and the Florida House of Representatives, where he provided legal and policy guidance on labor, employment, benefits, retirement systems, and government procurement matters.
Chris’s diverse background gives him a unique perspective on the intersection of law, business, and operations, enabling him to help organizations navigate growth, complexity, and change with confidence.
Chris lives in Tallahassee, Florida, with his wife, Rian, their triplets, Hadley, Carson, and Reese, and their yellow lab, Lilly. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, discovering great restaurants, cooking, and spending time along Florida’s coast.
