RMO LLP Partner Sean Muntz Selected to 2019 Southern California Super Lawyers

LOS ANGELES – May 1, 2019 – Southern California-based law firm RMO LLP announced today that Partner Sean D Muntz, who oversees the firm’s Orange County office and is the firm’s Practice Management Chair, has been named to the 2019 Southern California Super Lawyers list, an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. Only 5% of attorneys in Southern California receive this distinction.

An experienced litigator, Muntz focuses on four specific areas (1) representing businesses, business owners, directors, executives, members, officers, partners and shareholders in business litigation and commercial disputes, and in internal and external investigations; (2) representing financial industry employees, executives, financial advisors and managers in employment litigation; (3) representing beneficiaries, professional and corporate fiduciaries (administrators, executors, trustees, conservators, and guardians) in contested trust, estate and probate litigation; and (4) representing individual and institutional investors and financial institutions in securities litigation.

Prior to joining RMO LLP, Muntz worked as in-house counsel for a Fortune 100 aerospace manufacturer where he represented the company in internal and external investigation and compliance matters. While there, he represented the company as a victim of espionage, in the criminal matter of U.S. v. Chung, in which the U.S. District Court handed down the first conviction under the Economic Espionage Act of 1996. For representing the company’s interests, Muntz received a commendation from the Los Angeles Field Office of the FBI and the FBI Director.
