What is a Trustee?
A person appointed by a trust’s creator to coordinate the administration of the trust, manage the trust’s assets and distribute the assets to the trust’s beneficiaries.
An individual or entity appointed to manage a trust, responsible for administering the trust assets according to the terms outlined in the trust document and in the best interests of the beneficiaries. Trustees have a fiduciary duty to act with loyalty, prudence, and transparency, overseeing investments, distributing assets, and ensuring compliance with legal obligations.
