Scott Rahn, Founding Partner of RMO LLP, has been newly elected as a committee member to the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Contentious Trusts and Estates Global SIG Steering Committee. STEP Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide the opportunity for practitioners and related professionals to connect and advance their focused areas of practice, aiming to benefit the clients they serve and the industry at large.
At RMO LLP, Rahn’s practice is dedicated solely to representing heirs, beneficiaries, fiduciaries (including individual, private professional, and institutional trustees, executors, and conservators), and other interested parties in contested trust, estate, conservatorship, and guardianship matters.
Heavily involved in his local probate community, Rahn has also served as president of the Beverly Hills Estate Planning Council, board member of the California Alzheimer’s Association Southland Chapter, and as a member of the publications committee for the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils. Rahn has also spoken for the Society of Tax and Estate Practitioners, WealthCounsel, ALM Private Client Global Elite, numerous bar associations and estate planning councils throughout California, as well as global industry organizations, covering key issues in the areas of contested probate, trust and estates, conservatorship, guardianship, and elder financial exploitation.
